I suppose the poorer alignment of a QD would make for a more dramatic baffle strike with faster projectiles, and it would be a lot harder to make a "perfect" gas seal with lugs than fine threads, but all things being otherwise equal, what difference would it make to anyone? I have seen Lugged suppressors on AR's without loss of noticeable performance or loss to life and limb.
